Simsbury OKs Agreement Between Big Y And Skating Center For Driveway Usage
“The board of selectmen approved an agreement Monday night that removes one of the last hurdles to Big Y breaking ground on Hopmeadow Street — usage of a driveway.
The reciprocal easement agreement between Big Y Supermarkets and the International Skating Center will allow Big Y to use the skating center’s driveway on Hopmeadow Street, adjacent to the planned site, for delivery trucks.
“This allows economic development to move forward … and for the construction to move forward quickly,” First Selectwoman Mary Glassman said.”
