A bridge divided
“After half a decade of discussion and litigation, the Swamp Road bridge project has jumped a hurdle with the settlement of an eminent domain case involving a number of landowners.
Agreements in the cases for the rights-of-way of six properties were signed, compensating the owners a total of $79,741, according to records from the Special Court of Eminent Domain in Amite County.”
