Flood agency sues over 3 acres
“The Sutter Butte Flood Control Agency has sued a Live Oak landowner in a dispute over three acres.
The agency needs the acreage as part of its 41-mile upgrade of the west bank of the Feather River levee.
The eminent domain action, filed last month in Sutter County Superior Court, says the agency and the landowner, Sukhraj Pamma, have been unable to reach agreement on the value of the property. The agency offered $22,850.”
