Waukee may use eminent domain for Alice’s Road
“The Waukee City Council will hold a special meeting Monday to consider using eminent domain rights to acquire agricultural land needed for the Alice’s Road project.
Acquiring land-use rights is necessary before grading of the road begins between University Avenue and Ashworth Road. City officials say the multimillion dollar project will boost commercial and residential growth in Waukee and the surrounding communities.”
