Thorndike Fire and Water Commission seeking to take property by eminent domain for water main replacement project
Brown said the commission was seeking temporary easements for a period of two weeks that would allow the contractor to park equipment on the property. Brown said the total area needed was just a few feet, and May wanted the commission to repave his parking lot for $50,000 in exchange for using the land.
