Snags in the Bee Cave Road project continue

“Unfortunately, the CAMPO Policy Board’s vote on Nov. 10 to award $75 million in funding to local projects did not include funding for Bee Cave Road.

As we approach the end of the year, West Lake Hills leaders are hard at work to complete the acquisition of the right-of-way necessary to allow for the widening of Bee Cave Road to install a center turn lane and sidewalks. We’ve made excellent progress in recent weeks, with only a handful of parcels remaining to be acquired.

The Bee Cave Road widening project is divided into two segments. The first segment runs from Walsh Tarlton Lane to approximately Buckeye Trail; the second segment runs from that point westward to join the existing center turn lane that begins near Redbud Trail.”
