Arvada Urban Renewal Authority picks Buckingham as Ralston Creek North developer
“The board of the Arvada Urban Renewal Authority (AURA) has chosen a team led by Buckingham Cos. as the developer for Ralston Creek North, a 14-acre parcel within the Ralston Fields Urban Renewal Area.
Indianapolis-based Buckingham’s team includes Boulder-based Urban Investment Group and Denver-based Larimer Associates.
The Ralston Creek North area includes the Arvada Square shopping center, Independence Plaza and a former Safeway. These sites have become ideal properties for redevelopment, the city of Arvada said in a statement.
The parcel represents a large part of the overall Ralston Fields URA, the release said. The URA encompasses an area of Arvada once known as “the Triangle,” near the intersection of 58th Avenue and Independence Street.”
