Chesco judge hears Phoenixville eminent domain arguments
“A Chester County judge will mull how she’ll decide in the eminent domain dispute she heard Friday between the Phoenixville Area School District and a pair of Meadow Brook Golf Club’s owners.
“We just have to hope for the best, I guess,” said Patricia Young, one of the owners who filed against the school district.
Common Pleas Court Judge Jacqueline Carroll Cody’s decision on whether the Phoenixville Area School District acted properly in its Nov. 14 decision to acquire the property through eminent domain will likely take at least a week.”
