Rockford City Council Approves Eminent Domain Ordinance
“The city will acquire two properties at 1620 and 1702 Harrison Avenue, near the intersection of 11th Street and Harrison Avenue. It’s part of the Harrison Avenue construction project.
The project will repair Harrison Ave. from 9th to 20th Streets. The city needs to land because of new federal and state guidelines requiring intersections to be a certain width. “
