MTA seeks to be master of eminent domain, build subway entrance on Second Ave.
“The Metropolitan Transit Authority plans to use eminent domain to seize part of an Upper East Side luxury condo building to create a Second Ave. subway entrance.
MTA officials filed papers in Manhattan Supreme Court asking a judge to okay plans to temporarily take over ground-floor commercial space at 301 E. 69th St.”
