County approves use of eminent domain
“The Clark County Board of Commissioners, sitting as the Clark County Water Reclamation District Board of Trustees, cleared the way during their Nov. 19 meeting for the Clark County Water Reclamation District to use eminent domain to obtain a permanent easement across the Mohave Generation Station property, to permit access to the current main and to install a second force main.
“This is considered a friendly condemnation,” CCWRD General Manager Tom Minwegen advised the board, stating that Southern California Edison suggested the taking procedures. “
