Editorial: Hard work, good result in eminent domain case
“Not a bad four days’ work. A jury has valued Jackie Pfendler’s property at the corner of Robeson and Franklin streets at $583,000. Fayetteville, which invoked eminent domain to take it, will pay only $78,000 more than it agreed to in February. And the way is clear to build a $10 million bus transfer station for which the city will pay only $1 million.”
