Wallingford OK’s purchase of 2 properties for new cemetery maintenance facility
“The Town Council approved Tuesday the purchase of 58 Prince St. for $148,000, and the purchase of 60 Prince St. through eminent domain for $90,000.
Through the purchase of the properties, which border the Center Street Cemetery, the town plans to build a new maintenance facility and office for the cemetery, said Mayor William W. Dickinson Jr. The current maintenance building and office, inside the walls of the cemetery, is about 100 years old, lacks space and is falling apart, said Center Street Cemetery Association President Peter Gouveia.”
