BDC ‘greatly concerned’ about downtown site amid call for eminent domain
“The Baltimore Development Corp. plans to closely monitor developer J. Joseph Clarke’s new proposal for 1 Light St. as a downtown advocacy group calls for the city to use eminent domain to spur development at the site.
The BDC is not taking a position on Downtown Partnership of Baltimore Inc.’s call for eminent domain. But the BDC in a statement said it is “greatly concerned about the lack of activity at 1 Light Street and plans to attend the developer’s presentation this Thursday to the [Urban Design and Architecture Review Panel].””
