Big Flats land dispute still in court
“The fight between New York State Electric & Gas and a West Elmira man who is challenging the utility’s attempts to obtain a pipeline easement across his land has moved into state Supreme Court.
The 2-year-old dispute between NYSEG and Jeff Rubin, the principal of the Rugby Road Corp., was one of 13 eminent domain proceedings involving the utility company’s proposed pipeline in Big Flats heard Friday by Judge Judith O’Shea, according to the court clerk’s office.”
