Family fights Ball State over $25M hotel plan
“A judge says he’ll rule by the end of March whether Ball State University can continue its efforts to claim the site of a family business through eminent domain.
The Muncie college has offered the family that owns Hiatt Printing $400,000 for the property.
The Star Press reports the school hopes to build a $25 million hotel and conference center at the site, which also would include some student housing.”
