What’s next for eminent domain? Old Town, perhaps?
“Given the last few weeks’ news, I can’t help but suggest the City Council consider using eminent domain to buy out all of Old Town. It would eliminate all of those pesky private homeowners concerned with “their property” and convert them to renters. Council could then maintain the area to appear as much/little like Disneyland as they wish. Who knows? If it’s nice enough, they could put a fence around the area and charge admission.”
