Adams12 School District used eminent domain to condemn Denver business Auto-trol

In 2008, Adams12 School District used eminent domain to condemn and take a building belonging to Denver business, Auto-trol. The School district, after taking the building and forcing the company to move out, decided they did not want the building after all. It costs the business millions of dollars in damages and lost value to the building. Auto-trol has filed suit in Adams County to seek compensation.
