Clark County to seek loan for airport expansion judgment as appeal continues

Clark County officials have agreed to seek an $851,000 loan to satisfy a trial court judgment from an eminent domain case that the county continues to appeal to the state Court of Appeals. Without an appeals decision in its favor, Clark County government will have to pay the Dreyer estate the additional $647,395 because the airport doesn’t have the money to do so and the airport board is a department of county government.
