Covina continues eminent domain fight; temporarily secures nearby parking lot
While the city continues its battle to procure a largely empty piece of land from a local developer for employee parking, officials have secured a nearby parking lot for the next two years at no cost.
The City Council this week approved an agreement between Covina and the new owners of the former Masonic Lodge at 170 School Street to allow employees use of the spacious parking lot there.
