Roundabouts to eat into residents’ land

“A couple months ago and they marked it off how much they’re going to take,” says Ronda Doran, who owns property at the intersection. “They gave us an offer and basically we either accept it or they’re going to do it anyway.” Ronda Doran says she was offered just under $10,000 from the city. The money is paying for the land she has to give up, so a roundabout can be built in its place. Neighbors say they have no choice.
