Expert on eminent domain says lawsuit against city hard to win
A North Carolina public law professor says a downtown Fayetteville business fighting condemnation to build a $15 million transit hub faces an uphill battle in court. Chuck Szypszak, a professor at the School of Government in Chapel Hill who has written about eminent domain issues, said courts rarely block condemnation on the basis of being unconstitutional.
