Colorado lawmaker to introduce bill to add accountability to tax-increment financed urban-renewal projects
“Urban Renewal TIF Transparency Act, is expected to require developers to present tax-increment financing impact statement; an urban-renewal plan; annual reports on how a project is doing, the total taxes diverted and any changes to the plan; and a user-friendly website that allows the public to monitor the project.”
