“As a professional wetland scientist, my natural urge is to speak ad nauseum about the perils associated with the proposed natural gas pipeline and the high plateau aquifer on Bent Mountain.
I would also love to point out the various safety issues related to the pipeline, from explosions to contaminations.
The decrease in my property values as a result of this project certainly deserves mention. So many issues, so little time.
There is one issue that, in my opinion, stands above all others in the debate against the proposed natural gas pipeline and, likely, one we can all agree upon. Eminent domain for capital gain.”
