Jeff Foster is running for county supervisor
“eff Foster, of New Sharon, is running for a seat on the Mahaska County Board of Supervisors to be involved in decisions that affect county residents.
Foster, 46, is a Democrat who is running against incumbent Republican Supervisor Mark Doland and Republican former Supervisor Henry “Willie” VanWeelden for two seats on the board of supervisors in the Nov. 4 general election.
Foster is not new to politics.
“I’m serving on the New Sharon City Council,” he said. Foster has served 2 1/2 terms in office.”
