Citizens group focusing on Solberg Airport
“With testimony in the Solberg vs. Readington case ongoing,a group of residents has formed with the purpose of sharing information surrounding the Solberg Airport.
“We kind of came together over the summer, and our goal really is to be a source of information for township residents by pooling our resources and doing things collectively that nobody individually may have the time to do,” said Tracy Kirk, a member of Citizens for Readington Township.
Kirk said the group simply wants to put information out regarding the airport’s possible expansion, the ongoing eminent domain case between the township and Solberg and other information as it relates to the airport. She said while she is against the airport’s expansion, the group’s goal is to make non-partisan information available to residents.”
